JILL COZZA-TURNER is an Emmy Award-winning writer who has helped shape the shows that have shaped a generation of kids. From hits like Little Einsteins and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, and clients that include PBS, The Fred Rogers Company, Sprout, Nick Jr., Amazon, The Smithsonian and so many more, Jill’s credits span the biggest and the best in children’s entertainment. Her television writing credits range from humor-driven series like Nature Cat, Astroblast! and Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! to curriculum-based shows such as Cyberchase and Word World. She has also written interactive games and appisodes and worked closely with top directors, producers and artists to create some of the best children’s content on the market today. Jill currently is Head Writer for Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood at 9 Story Media (formerly Out Of The Blue Enterprises), hands down the market leader in children’s educational media. In addition to her expertise in creating age-appropriate content that engages and educates kids and families, Jill is an active member at Valley Christian Church as both a host and a Sunday School teacher. She lives with her husband, two children and their dog Dynomite in the Hudson Valley.
LIVIA BEASLEY will do anything to make her toddler laugh. When she’s not making up silly stories from inside a blanket fort, Livia is developing, writing, and producing content for clients across the children’s media landscape, often from her backyard swing in Nutley, New Jersey. Livia has been overjoyed to spend the last 20 years as a content creator for many of the top networks and production companies including Nickelodeon, Sesame Workshop, Universal Kids, PBS, 9 Story, YouTube, Amazon, and many more. Livia is also proud to be the founding mama of CHILDREN’S MEDIA ASSOCIATION, the premier national industry organization for children’s media professionals. Now celebrating our 15th anniversary, CMA continues our dedication to improving the quality of children’s media content by connecting and educating the children’s media community.
Today, Livia Beasley is the chief pebble skipper of PIXEL & PEBBLE, a creative boutique devoted to developing and producing pro-social content that inspires little kids to do big things. She can also sometimes be spotted noodling on lyrics and vocals as one half the songwriting duo BAREFOOT WALKING. Livia is a happy wife of her filmmaking partner Corey (Snyder) Beasley, a joyful mother of their supremely sparkling toddler, and a Sunday School teacher at Hillsong Montclair.
ALEXIS BRUNNER HALEY is an award winning creative director with a consistent 20+ year track record of launching successful television networks, building enduring brands, and developing family-targeted and faith-based content at local, national, and international levels. In addition to multiple awards for creative work, she was featured in AdAge as one of the Top Ten Creative Professionals in the US under the age of 40. Previously held positions include: VP Creative Director for Animal Planet , VP Creative Director for Discovery Kids, and VP Creative Services and Original Productions for CTC TV, one of the largest television networks in Eastern Europe. Alexis also has extensive experience creating curriculum and faith-based multicultural outreach programs for kids in the US and abroad, including training and leading international teaching teams. In 2012, Alexis founded, secured launch funding, and oversaw all operations for Manhattan Valley Mosaic: Preschool of Art and Design (MVM). MVM was the 2013 recipient of the prestigious Redeemer Presbyterian’s Entrepreneurship Initiative Business Plan Competition for nonprofit gospel-centered ventures. She has served in numerous ministries at her home church, The Brooklyn Tabernacle. She lives in Manhattan with her husband, Jeff, daughter Hazel, and cats Pooja and Djinga
